Lost my desktop icons and toolbar on windows - how do I get them back??

Ok, this is slightly odd, but I've been a muppet and closed down 'explore' (or whatever it's called) using the Ctrl-Alt-Del taskmanager.

I didn't want to do that LOL

How can I get all my desktop icons and the bar at the bottom back without restarting the machine?

Can I find the relevant file using the "open file" option on Word (which I have open) and right-click Open them? (Where are the files??)

Open up task manager via ctrl+alt+del and then go to the applications tab

Click on new task and type in explorer and enter

CTRL - ALT - DEL

Open task manager > File > New Task (Run) > "explore.exe"

C:\WINDOWS\explorer
