lost my wheel locking nuts!!! :(

  182 - 1 of the last made
I've got a 182 with the cup alloys and I can't find my bloody locking nuts anywhere.... The front tyres need changing over a month ago!!!

I seem to recall them being in an opaque plastic box...What can I do if I can't find them??? My renault dealer said they don't do replacements. Drilling them off is the last resort

Sorry if this sounds silly. But they are usually stored in the boot in the little grey pouch? Or have you taken them out before?
Other wise it might have to be the drill bud.

yep looked in the jack pouch. I can't see how they'd even fit in there as its a job just to get the jack out....

Am I right that I'm looking for the light plastic box, with a red label I seem to recall :S

That would be mighty handy!

I'm going to have another look tonight, theres one place they could be and if they're not there I'll have to give up :(

Went to get the tyres changed lunchtime today and as soon as tyreman said "wheel locking nuts" I knew I hadn't checked where they were. I wanted to get them changed today as went over a pothole last week and shredded one of them and plus I have some long car journeys this weekend.

Are all locking nuts supplied with this wheel interchangeable? i.e. If I find another clio 182 owner locally with the same alloy wheel then i could potentially borrow their nuts just at least to change the tyres at this stage...

Lost my original key recentley used a tiny chissle to remove the outer ring then banged a socket with insulation tape arround the outside designed to remove lockers on what was left. The socket I used was borrowed and looked different to the above kinda serated inside worked a treat tho try and buy one of these sockets bud took me minutes per corner not a mark on any of wheels..

break them off and get a new set

bolts are £35
key + screws from centre cars are £17 iirc
from reno

and the centre cap key are universal
