the lens i was using mostly was a nikon 55-200 mm one.

Very dark on my lap top - no sparkle or light in them !

was a very dull day, the sun wasnt out couldnt use flash either because it reflected of the cage.

Manual mode is your friend

Nice pics though, just a pity they seem to be slightly underexposed.
