Loud Banging Noise Under Hard Acceleration

As it says above Loud Banging Noise Under Hard Acceleration!!!

If I accelerate very hard I get a very loud banging noise as if the wheels are bouncing instead of spinning, this happens both with the ABS/ESP on and off is this normal or do I need to take the car in to be looked at????

Im sure the mounts do have a tendancy to snap on 172's

I find good throttle control in first upto 5000rpm then floor it change to second and floor it again works for me.

plus new tyres made a bit of difference.

finally, never happens to me when road is dry and not icy, but havent had conditions like that for a few months.

Doesnt sound too good but i get it too. Only in the wet. Dont really bother booting much in 1st as it will always happen. Not so bad in dry.

As Dave3141 said, we really just need to take it slower to about 5000rpm change to 2nd and then its show time !!! lol

Check the exhaust is not hitting the subframe under load.
