Loud buzzing from behind dash

My 2001 172 (mk2) has developed a fairly loud buzzing from behind the dash somewhere, not sure what it is... It doesnt change with engine speed and remains buzzing when the climate is turned off... It is like a constant humming noise, any ideas what it could be?

its up by the light. its the climate control sensor fan, a very common fault, you'll need to change the fan, i think there about a tenna from renault.

Up near the interior light? Which light do you mean? How simple are they to change?
