Loud buzzing interior light

I know ye iv got a bit mad, I have know f**k all about cars so trying to get as much info as possible and I'mskint sso wanna get the problems fixed for as cheap as possible

What job does this sensor do exactly? Is it just the temperature of the heaters or could it affect the blowers working all together??
