The more & more I see of 1*2's the more I make sure that the belts have been done by a specialist ( or are due) as some of the changes from independent garages are tragic-
My mechanic was telling of what hes seen this week

Second hand dephasers
Retensioned belts
Reused end caps with big Gouges out of them where they were pulled out
Tipex marks

& so on

I'm pleased to say, I got it and its a peach. Unbelievably, it looked even better in the flesh. Needs a new throttle cable, but other than that, shes a beaut!
