Ive noticed that my 172 is idling very low ie 650-750rpm area, which makes the engine shake, and puts pulsing vibration through the car and exhaust, it never dips so low its going to stall but it feels like it is all the time, ive read about remaps and such and is this the only solution? or is the a manual way to change it? because my dads 172 ticks over no problem and hasnt been remaped and has almost twice the mileage!
