Hi, I dont post much, but i thought id let you know last night some low life scum broke into my 172 and stole my ipod and cd player and cd changer i know i shouldnt leave them in there but i just forgot rushing to get in after work i suppose, but basically they damaged the door they bent it, smashed window put a screw driver through the seats scratched glove box and some of dash and snapped the part around the cd player thats connect to the harzard light button scratched paint work on roof gouged actually dendted door and scratched. cars gone to a garage to be assesed its a 2002 on a 51 plate, do you think they will repair, how much are new seats to buy is there a post on this site somewhere with all the parts listed with there prices or if any of you lot know the prices could you let me know thanks very much.

Why put a screw driver throught the seat :s its one thing stealing something but to then put the boot in by vandalising it aswell that would make me even more angry, if they get caught and i was the judge i'd give them the maximium sentance then jst add another 2 years to put the boot in like they did 2 u scum

sorry to hear about it m8. I know how you feel. my last car was broken into 3 times in 5 weeks! Not nice at all. Seeing stuff moved around and broken in the car really feels like you've been violated.

Are you going through the insurance or paying out yourself?

Keep an eye on the for sale section to find new seats etc.
