low profile tyres...

  Clio 1.4 16v Dymanique
Atm, i have the standard Dymanique alloys with the standard tyres... i think these alloys are 15"

Anyway, I was just wondering what it would look like and if atall it will work putting low profile tyres on these standard 15" alloys?

Cheers

not aware of any problems with fitting low profiles to standard alloys (may be wrong) however low profiles will look shweet in my opinion, on any set of alloys realy, even steelies....

however a lowering of the car will be in order to avoid the 4X4 look, i got 195/50 on 15's and look shweet except for the arch gap....springs up next, 40 mm

  Add me 2 ur PS3 - Lylak
It depends how low you go but just be aware your speedo will be out if you adjust your tyre side profile too much as the rolling radius wouldn't be the same as what your speedo is calibrated too.

there is a site somewhere where you can see the caculated changes that you will experience..... however speedo's are generally calibrated with a +- 10% variance to the vehicles actual speed in reality so wouldnt be to worried bout that.

Sweet mate! Yeah would be lowering the car first then tyres

Do you happen to have any pictures of your clio on the low profile tyres as it is now?

Cheers

Personally i'd not go too low profile as they will look awful, I reckon 195/45 is about the lowest you out to go.
