Lower ball joint

  Clio 200
I purchase a clio 200 just over two weeks ago , fresh MOT on morning of collection passed with no advisory , having noticed erratic movement switching lanes on the motorway I’ve had a friend(mechanic ) who has a number of RS models take a look , he’s shown me that the lower ball joints are toast and can’t understand how it hasn’t even had a mention ( advisory) on mot or even passed , his words “ if I took that to the garage i send all my jobs to that would fail without doubt “ , dealer is willing to send me the lower ball joint parts an also willing to pay 4 hours labour ( 2 per corner ) which a appreciate. my question is , is that enough time to do the job given I’ve been told they can be a right fucker to do , I don’t see I should have to folk out for an extra hour or so labour when they should have been noticed when it was mot’d the morning of collection , has it been thrown through to get the sale , so ye just looking to know a realistic time frame the job is normally done in , also I think the gearbox mount it’s completely shot as per video attached
