Lower idle and exhaust problem

Hi,

For about 2/3 days now the cars been idling at around 500, used to be on 1,000 dead on, no movement.

Also he exaghst is making a louder noise when in lower rev ranges.

Could it be the exaghst is on its way out which is also causing the problem at idle?

Anyone? Im pretty sure its the exaghst causing both the problems, but id like some other opinions incase its something else too.

Problem was the back box, fell off today after going over a speedbump in town, embarrasing thing to happen lol

Maybe the lack of back pressure is causing the problem...especially now the exhaust has come off !

Yeah im sure that will be the problem, thought there was only a small hole, turned out the weld was corroding away which then gave way over a speedbump lol

Not a nice noise with no backbox at the moment!
