Lowerd MK1 Clio's

Im going to lower my MK1 Clio, but im not sure how much to do it by!

Can i see some other MK1's that are lowerd pleased, preferably on 15's but any will do!
 
This is mine down 35mm using 16v shocks and 16v lowering springs and sitting on 14s (so the equivalent of -55 no 16v springs);

Shitloads of space less in the arches and TBH isn't low enough for my liking so i'm on the hunt for some -55 valver springs atm...going to wait until i get my antiroll bar on first tho as it'll become quite close to the arches.

my valver on 15's, i don't how low it is though, back looks a bit higher in this pic because there's no interior in it:)

this is geezers lowered valver...not sure how low it is, think he just dropd it till it wudnt go any lower lol

heres my mk1, lowered LOTS on 16s think its 60 at the front and got knows wat the back is

excuse the multi coloured front end... had a bit of a prang ermm yeah woops. gave me an excuse to ut a 16v front end on it tho :) getting sprayed as i type 2 :)

cheers people, i have decided im going to drop my car by 60mm now, i found a guide on here so once i have done this i will post pics!

More clio's welcome to show how low they are tho :D
 
Do any of you get any exhaust knocking on the rear torsion bar then? Even on mine, which I think is only about 30 mm my mongoose knocks like a b**ch.
 
All clios/meganes/r5s do that...its a s**t design for routing the exhaust over the axle and is basically just good luck and lots of fiddling that cure it. Case of putting up with it TBH...

my m8s knocks all the fuckin time! think theres a bracket missing though

could try using smaller clips or brackets, would of thought this would stop most of the play

Thanks mate, tbh, I think the exhaust is currently sitting on the bar itself having lowered it over the weekend.

F* s**t design unfortunately. I can't seem to "pull" it up anymore than I already have.

mine lowered about 55-60mm all round on 15"s need lower thou!!!

Ive got springs now so it will be dropping by 60mm at the front but at the back im not sure!

To adjust the torsion bar is it hard?
Me and my maccy mate are going to do this friday!
 
  172cup / mk1 rs1600
in theory mate its car up, splines out drop the bar and splines back in.. but like everything.. easier said than done.. haynes manual?:S
