Lowered 60mm?



  E36 Coupe & Mk4 Golf
Hello i bought my car a while back and it had already been lowered,he said it was 60mm but im looking for a new set of shocks and springs but does this look 60mm been doing some searches and 60mm looks higher? i think im wrong though

yeah, i wanted to change to springs as the ride is shite but i like the height

Mines -60 Mike and it does look a bit higher than yours tbh, I think the 15's make it look a bit lower too though.

Can come round and compare some time if necessary ;)

Is there a chance people have messed with the setup when fitting the springs so its sitting lower than it should and giving you crap ride? My ride isn't great, but definately not crap.

it does indeed look lower than 60,

but different springs come in different heights.

think the eibatch 60mm springs come quite low iirc.

I'm on standard shocks, and sits nothing like that, unless your shocks are totally shagged because its been rally'd over speed bumps whilst lowered?

Cut springs? Possibly? You checked them mike? What colour are they? I've got 60mm apex and they are bright yellow....

no springs are in good condition had it on a ramp at work to check, might invest in some new shocks and springs but try and keep the height.
