lowered car

hey all
i just had my car lowered 35mm does this in time get a bit lower? once the springs are bedded in?

yes....takes about 2 weeks deppending how much u drive iirc

Possibly, dependant on the springs.

Apex will definately get lower, Eibach's, probably not.

Ive got apex on mine atm had them on for about a month and did around 600 miles so far and they still havent fallen any further than from when they were fitted :/

im going to 60mm now as i still think it looks sh"te,
the night i parked my car after it was lowered, the front bumper was over the kerb and in the morning when i went to reverse out, i nearly ripped the bumper off, doh. so mine did settle quite abit.

Yup apex get lower and lower and lower then your shocks die (from experience)

Yeah only if you running them with standard shocks but then that would apply to any spring

Whats the rule of thumb? any lower than 30 and you should replace your shocks with uprated ones?

id say lower than 40mm as that dosnt seem to affect clio shocks either , well in 1.2, 1.4 , 1.6 not sure about sports and Diesls as there heavier

After any drop its ideally best to replace the shocks if you can. OE shocks are designed to run with OE length springs.
