Depends what you want from a car, personaly I'd do a 172 engine transplant and coilovers if I were in your position.
new springs and dampers you set them up for the ride high you want so if you want to set them so your ride high is 70mm or so lower than standard at the front and 60 at the back you cna you can adjust them usualy between about 20mm lower than stock to about 80mm in the case of Fk's.
About £420 I think for FK's theres a group buy on at the moment I think but much better than just springs or just springs and new/replacment shocks plus they are always lower than just springs which whiolst claiming 60m often don't.
Do you mean to lower the car? If so not much else airbags are an option but there not as good handling as coilovers they will let you lower the car a bit more.

Most people now look at colour coordinating the side parts th same colour as the car then an exhaust and some sort of air filter setup for a bit more noise.
Easily done you have to be careful.
You have to undo both bolts on the shock/hub to get it off to chnage the springs though?
