THE WHEELS ARE DARE V2s WITH A 215/35/18 AND THEY DO LOOK HUGE AND MAKE THE CAR LOOK LIKE A ROLLERSKATE THATS WHY IM TRYING THE EXTRA DROP IF ITS POSSIBLE.
18s on a clio are defo possible as i have them as well, mine is lowered 40mm and it is tight as a badgers arse but i looks wicked, the bodykit i got needed altering slightly to fit the wheels i can have a full car and full lock no probs, only thing i will say is this is scrubs slightly on the drivers side rear but thats due to the side skirt being in the way. I asked merseyspeed about a 60mm drop it will need work but it can be done.
clio lowerd 60mm on rear and 40mm on the front. we had rubbing on the front(alot) and sound as a pound on the rear hence putting 40s on the front and 60s on rear. if any one is considering lowering a clio on 18s i found two bolts that had to be removed or would have caused huge damage. they are at the back of the rear arches and hold the inner arch in. just whip them off and your away.or you will need two new tyres very soon. pics of me clio very soon adding final touches.
