Lowering mk1

Hi, what is the max i can lower my mk1 on standard shocks before you start getting problems? any good brands in particular on mk1 clios?

Mines down 55mm on gmax springs, Been on them for a year with no problems...

55mm is prob the lowest you can go on standard shocks without problems - they may wear out quicker tho

yeah 55mm is as low as you can go without having problems but i would expect you to ned to uprate the shocks after 12 months as i found the standard one start to waep which is an mot faliure.
