lowering springs

hi. newbie here. just got a mk2 ph2 1.2 16v extreme and i want to lower it. looking on ebay for some springs i've come across two things i need confirming:

1) some places say that a mk2 ph2 has a torsion bar and others say that it has rear springs? which is it?

2) one place says that the power steering pump wire (i think it is) needs relocating? can anyone confirm this?

thanks

Mk2 phase 2 has rear springs there getting them mixed up with the Mk1.

There getting confused no wire needs moving not even sure what they could be on about as the electric rack only wires are on the column and on the center of the rack miles from the springs. They maybe refering to the ABS wirre but that not even an issue either thats the only wire in the area though.

Personaly get some decinet springs eisbach or however you spell it are ther best and only spring only setyup I'd use then again I'd never use just springs did it properly or not al all IMO H and R's are the best real for price at £750 else save some money accept the slightly harder ride and get Fk' coilovcers at £450 there miles better than any spring and damper upgrades.
