Lowering Springs

Car  Clio Sport 172
Dont wanna be going too spend loads and I only want too lower it 40mm for the time being. What can you recommend and where to get them at a decent price :)

I have Apex springs until the weekend. Standard rear shocks tend to die quicker than fronts. It will be obvious when they go though and only cheap to replace if you dont want a kit/coilovers.

Eibach Sportlines quote upto 50mm but realistically you will drop around 25-30mm. They are fine on original shocks and give a great ride quality. Not to hard and crashy, just firm and supple. They are more expensive at around £140 against others which are £60 to £80 but you get what you pay for i most cases....imo

ye i want a 40mm drop but not to be a really harsh ride. If eibach sportlines wern't lying then theyd be perfect. but i know what i'm like and they just wont be low enough

Cool I will take that into consideration :D

i got 60mm on standard shocks for the past few months and no problems and ride is fine...seems to be ok as long as shocks are in good condition to start off with k tec do some good sets
