lowering springs

i have been looking at the lowering springs on the k tec site and was wondering which are best? i saw some that lowered 30mil all round and some that were lower at the front, which is best?

will any lowering springs still provide some improvement in handling over a standard 182's springs?

also, will a 15/30mil drop be noticeable?

Go for progressive springs, won't f**k the ride.

eibach prolines are a good improvement over standard, they won't lower the car though.

eibach sportlines will lower the car around 20mm and also improve the handling.

apex/PI will lower the car 40mm and ruin the handling

your choice.

20mm would give it a veyr slight more sporty stance imo

they're not progressively wound springs, so won't perform all that well tbh.
But, they'll do what it says on the box, and thats lower your car.

Eibach are the only spring-only option if you want to improve handling.

Ideally I'd like to lower mine by 20mm to give it a better look if I don't get rid if the car, certainly no more though as it'l start to look OTT.

Regarding the Eibach Sportlines, will they still improve handling over the cup Suspension pack.
How much firmer will it be, I don't want to be bouncing across the road everytime I hit a bump on a B road blat

Sportlines are certainly not harsh springs. they'll tighten the suspension up a bit, and lower the car a small amount. They're not harsh as they're progressively wound... so at the beginning of their travel they're softer than at the end of their travel. This means small bumps are absorbed with ease but when it matters on hard cornering/braking and the springs at the end of its travel they will be stiffer where it matters.

Go for the sportlines, you won't be dissapointed.

For the record, ive had Standard, Eibach Sportlines, Eibach Prolines and Apex on my cars, and had a courtesy car for a week with PI springs on. Would never recommend apex as they're very harsh in comparison. And you would be better of using the springs from a biro pen than using PI.
