Lowering Torsion, Do I need to replace shocks?

Car  clio 1.4 sport
Hi Iam new to all this I av got a Mk1 Clio 1.4Sport Got some 15" BBS goin on and i want to drop it abit, will lowering the torsion put more strain on the shocks?

You will probably bottom them out on the bump stops depending on how low you drop it. front wheel drive cars should be lower on the front end than the back.
Standard shocks you can use if you don't drop it too much. for the front end you will need lowering springs.
