Lowering valver

My valver has 17" wheels and I was wondering how far a drop could I get without getting major problems. I was looking to lower by 60mm, what would it take?

Depends what you deam as majour and how much you wan to spedn 60mm springs won't lower your car as much as 60mm coilover plus coilovers will be lower regarldess of the advertised figures but coilovers won't be anywhere near the problems.

my mate got 17's on his and droped the car -35mm it looks well smart, on the other hand mines lowerd 50mm on the front and 60mm on the back that looks nice.

I had 17's on my RT dude. It didnt have any issues.

mines on 17s, dropped 80 on the back and 60 front,looks mean as. no rubbin what so ever, even 4 up! just take out the arch linins, And get the rite offsets! thinkin bout raisin it level to aid cornerin. but sellin it soon, so might leave it,especialy to the market it will apeal to. with big shiny wheels n all that. 40 profile tyres too!!!!

Depends on the profile and offset like mentioned as to how far you could go. But 17s... that seriously can't handle well at all!
