Lowering + wheels for Dynamique

Hullo all.............having got only about 5 months of free insurance left (god)........im gettin ever closer to the lowering and modding of my little clit! For the lowering, i was originally going to get Eibach springs, but not sure about how low the 30mm drop would look?! I think I may got for Pi Springs now, as i think a 35mm drop should be ok. As for the wheels, I may keep the standard ones and spend the hard-earned else where. If i do get a set of wheels, I fancy a set of 16" Super Legs. I know 17" will fit but i dont want to loose too much of the cars playfully-adjustable handling with the massive grip of 205 rubber. Anyone else out there wi a 35mm drop and 16s????? Ive seen a black one wi 35mm and 16s (ren16v is it?) and it looked smart. Also, Exhausts??? I love the Magnex.........but have been told to look into Devils.......anyone know how a Devil sounds???

why you waiting till your free insurance is up? do renault bother about lowering. ive told renault about me spraying bumpers/spoiler/side skirts/bumper - fitting 500pounds worth of ice, and fitting lexus lights and they havent been bothered one bit.

It doesnt make much difference to your insuranc eon my old Y reg Dynamique soon to be in the crash gallery RIP!!

I colour coded it all had it lowered 60 mil and still no increase on the insurance. The only increase came when i told them about the £2500 ice install!!

Dont bother with 35mm, DECK IT 60mm!!!!!!! Mines 60mm at the moment, but its going lower, i want 80mm minimum!!!!!!!!

agree with u -60mm is still not low enough, theres still a good 2 fingers gap between the wheel and the arch

just spoke to the Renault insurance........it is not valid to lower the car under the free insurance deal. It apparently makes the car go a little faster lol. Anyway ya can tint widows, colour code etc, but no performace enhancing mods r premitted!

Performance enhancing????? My Arse!!!! Monk, 120mm drop on 17s!!!!!! Yes!!! I took the rear springs out completely on the weekend and lowered it down, The arch covered the wheel about half way down the spoke!!!!

Well I had a bump with renault ins. on my last car. took it in with it lowered and they never mentioned anythin. I did put the standard alloys back on.
