lowering with 17's

rip the arces out, and you can get the rear very low,

the fronts i had lowered about 80-90mm, but it was rubbing rather a lot on the inner wing.

at the end of the day, you have two options.

springs or coilovers,

coilovers you can just keep lowering it further and further until you find the right place,

springs go up to 60mm max and as long as you remove the rear weather guards and dont get wheels with a silly offset, you wont get any rubbing.

However 17s in my (and most other poeple on cliosport) opinion look terrible on clios. id go for 15", or 16" tops.

cheers mate, yeah i know i hate them, im after some 182 alloys, but overall if i cant sell 17's and leave them on i could lower it 50 front and 40 back without changing anything for time being ? thanks

you may still have to remove the rear weather guards tbh,

i had to on mine when it wasnt lowered at all, that was only with 3 people in the back,

remove the guards (takes 5 minutes) and there is all the room in the world!
