lowering

apex are good.. so are eibach (sp).. if you can afford it get the full suspension kit, or even coilovers

  Rs monaco 172 mk2
2 be honest probably can afford just the springs for now. how much we lookin at....

Apex will give you the lower ride height but I'd got for handling so Eibach personaly then again I'd not bother spending on just springs save until you can afford to spend a bit on suspension IMO.

apex will completely ruin the ride of the car, and i mean even more so than fitting those big 17's.

for springs only, my choice would be eibach every time.

There must be better springs out there other than the generic Eibachs.

I remember a friends dad approaching Leda at the autosport show a few years back and having some made up for his hill climb car.

Mark Fish also had "lowering" springs made up for somebody's Trophy IIRC, same sort of thing.
