Lowering!

  campus sport 1.2 16v
Hi campers just like some advice on lowering whot do i need and where can i take my car to get it lowered? Also how much will it cost?

you need springs

take your car to a garage

Probably cost around £40 for labour

Do it yourself, its easy

Cost depends what you want springs alone as the cheapest £30 second hand to £120 or so new loads to choice from Eisback are the only ones i like and I don't agree with just using springs the right not ideal. They will drop about 50mm front and 60 rear at best regardless of what they say Pi will lower about the most since there junk (IMO) they are cheapest as well.

Any garage can fit them about 2 hours to do it cost between £40 and £60 People on here will do it for less. Not to difficult to do it yourself.

Next cost stp is springs and shocks none aging which I like £250 or so same cost to fit there a few choices Apex are a popular one. Ride is better since your swopping shock which match the springs better.

Next cost step is coilover the popular option is FK's due to there low cost and the fact there are quite god this is what I'd do realy. 2modiifed sells them for about £420 will let you lower your car more thn springs lower the back abaout 65mm depends if you leave the rubber bungs to quieten the ride and the adjster remove them and you can go about 7mm lower. The fronts go so low as to make it undrivable realy. Cost to set them up is usualy about 1 hours extra labour. Same to fit can be done DIY.
