lowering

i looked a fair while in the forums but couldnt find an exact answer so here goes:

i got a 2000 clio sport i was going to buy a set of 16s and lower it 60mm, is it possible?

yep fine, you can go 17's if you want to (keep offset to ET40 +/- 3mm)

get a shock and spring kit, std shocks don't like 60mm springs

thanks mate, would i need to get the arches rolled to prevent any scrubbing?

Alternatively, go for Coil-overs and wind them down... Better handling, and the option of height/dampening adjustment too..

In saying that, mine is down about 80mm on 18s, and theres no scrubbing at all from it, yet it sticks to the road like sh1te to a balanket

no need to touch the arches until you get to aorund 80mm

i'm the lowering expert round these parts, trust me you can, BUT YOU MUST use wheels with an offset of ET40 +/- 3mm

so ET37 max to ET43
