Lowering

hey people is it true that you can lower your clio with your standard springs about 30mm. pls tell me as i am a bit tite for cash.

of course you can, get an angle grinder and chop a ring off!

Yeah you can cut the springs. But you can get a proper set of lowering springs for £50 anyway then you just need to adjust the torsion bar at the rear - on an old Clio anyway.
