Lowering

I will soon be buying some 17s to go on my phase 1 1.2. I can afford to get the car lowered now but cant get the wheels for like just over a month. I f I was to lower it 60mm on the standard 13"wheels would this cause a lot of problems.

I have heard 2 views. One that it will lokk really good for the short time its like it but the other is that it will be to low and may cause damage to my car on speed bumps etc.

Does anyone know whether or not it would be ok to lower the car this much?

from personal experience i would wait till you get your wheels. and then only drop it by 30-45 mm any more would need minor arch work.

Have you done it yourself then?

How much does arch work normally cost and wheres the best place to get it done. If it doesnt cost to much then im not that worried really.
