Lowest...

  Renault Clio 1.2 16v
Ive currently got 40mm Gmax springs on my 2002 1.2 clio but im a bit bored with it now so want it lower :D

Whats the lowest i can take it without using coilies, because i dont have the money for them. I dont care if its a harsh ride but it needs to handle well and be as low as possible!

Cheers, Chris :D

60mm unless you get custom springs but the standard shocks wont like it

Whats a suggested make? Ive seen some 60mm springs that do virtually nothing compared to 40mm...

  wait and see ;)
coileys will do down about 120mm with custom springs, probly 70mm MAX with springs and standard shocks but the shocks will last about 1 week lol

Lol, i need them to last a bit more than a week really...
Is there a spring/shock kit which will drop it significantly, or is it just better to go with a particular brand of springs?

  wait and see ;)
but what are you running mate, springs or coils?? that looks to low for just springs and uprated shocks

jones that looks awesome - really like it. Just dont have the money for Coils :(

Its my mates car, he lives in North Wales.
costed him around a grand to do it like that :)

60mm springs are preety cheap these day price wise i mean, if your after more, i could give you a company which can manufacture custom springs for you ?

its 115+vat for front , & 115 +vay for the Rear, and in any colour iirc . so around 300ish which is still good, but the standard shocks wont handle it tho..

Hmm 300 isn't too bad really, for custom springs but i needed something that will last too lol.
Has anyone tried 60mm Gmax springs? I quite like the ride on the ones i have so they're a possibility...
