LPF

Hi, i got two 12" kenwood subs hooked up to a kenwood amp. I was just wondering what frequency to run the low pass filter to cut off at. Any advice, cheers, sam

  Clio II and Grand Modus

Not higher than 80Hz, I run the LPF at 70Hz and it sounds nice and controlled without beeing too boomy. If I had 2x12" I would keep the LPF at 60-65Hz.......

i think its mainly down to personal preference really, i got mine set to just over 100hz, and its perfectly fine, alot of people i know go for around 120hz.

All depends, as everyone hears differently

Exactly. Start at 100hz and play with it until youre happy. Remember to always have the boot shut when you listen, and also that it will sound slightly different when you drive the car instead of listening stationary on your drive.
