Lumpy 1.4 acceleration

Hi,
Wondering if anyone here had a possible solution. I’ve got a Clio 1.4 2006 and when I accelerate from standing the car literally kangaroos up the road until you reach decent revs. Also is sluggish when in a higher gear and accelerating from low revs.
I’ve checked the coils, changed the sparks and air filter, cleaned the throttle body but still no joy. Any ideas of what next to look at?

Could be a blocked/collapsed cat.

Could be a number of things.. get the codes read. Where are you based ?

thanks for your message mate, that’s something I’d have never guessed. So you think diagnostics will find the problem? Do you know if it’s possible the buy the software?

Cheaper to buy a new car than the proper CLiP stuff..

Cheap eBay code reader might do it but maybe not.

No worries thanks mate, think I’m gonna invest in one for the Clio, have got one for my a3 and it’s more than payed for itself.

I’ve got a cheap code reader but they tend to be crap on Clio’s.

I’ve got an RStuner that only works for code reading, that may help?

Have you got a light on?
