  A4 DTM/iceberg cup
very true although the trophy is the 1 to have from a clio nut perspective but to every1 else the yellow one looks the nuts!

For show LY, to drive Trophy.

In my experience, I'd say it was more down to the driver.
I played with a local Trophy and was all over the back of him round the twisties on my private road. He certainly had no advantage driving a trophy

Same driver in boths cars would agree with my first statement,

I like the yellow but prefere the drive of the trophy ;)

Depends on if you'll miss the fancy features such as xenons, climate, leather/alcantara seats in the back etc etc??

^^agree

Dont really understand this, your not gonna buy a trophy because the colour isn't as nice.......have a word. If your after a more engageing drive then its got to be the trophy. But if you love the LY so much get a set of coilovers.

Would highly recommed a test drive in a trophy. You will notice a difference.

just my thoughts tho

I went from a FF 182 with Cup packs to the Trophy. The drive is noticably different, especially the ride which is much harder. The 182 was a better all rounder but I don't regret swapping it for the Trophy.

As for all the colour talk a liquid yellow 182 is just a 182. A rare colour, but nothing else rare about it.

Luckily I love the Trophy in red. Liquid yellow does nothing at all for me, but then I'm sick of seeing it on every car Renault UK seem to take to their track days at the moment.

When I had my Racing Blue 182 I loved Liquid Yellow, not regreting having RB one bit just loved LY also.

When I decided to sell the 182 for a V6, there was no question it HAD to be Liquid Yellow...... once owning a LY V6 it was great, but after a short while there was a bit of doubt in my mind that I miss Racing Blue. Now as Lee says LY use to be rare but now it's everywhere you see, not making it so special.

i think if i had a ly and was offered a straight swap for a trophy in roughly the same condition then i would be tempted but if it meant spending a lot to swap then i would have to give it some serious consideration :quiet:
