Ly 182's

Are they really worth the extra ££££? I've looked at a ly 182 with 90,000 miles on off a dealer
For £4000. It's I'n good nic but with the price of Renault sport clios nowadays. I'm not sure I can justify the extra £1000 just for a yellow car.
What's everybody's opinions on these, you can pick up a pretty decent 1*2 for <£3000

Given that the only difference is the colour it's purely a personal choice mate...

Tends to be a marmite opinion... I love mine, it's a different colour from every angle in the sun and I think I've only every seen 2 or 3 others on the road, but some think it's a colour for gay's and girls...

Edit - Does it have cup packs? I didn't do my research before I bought mine and spent a good £500 on spoiler/decent springs and a splitter. ERROR.

4k for the one from Hogg motors-

Not a bad price- although mileage is quite high-
LY is always worth extra- its whether you can trade off the high mileage on that particular car-

I dont think its a bad price-- £3750 would be a reasonable deal-

Well I'm 19 at the minute and want something abit different.

It's a toss up between a meg 225 or a ly 182. The meg is probably a better car but higher running costs.
I love the ly 182 but don't want to regret buying one

Latza, is your rep your daily? I've not seen you about... And a 225 at 19!? Madman!

I'd fork out the extra wonga for the ly like, they tend to hold their value more than other colours (as you can see) it's a great colour and suits the 182 down to the ground IMO :)

There's a horrid one kicking about Sunderland though, it's got one of those gash frs looking spoilers <--- can't explain it better sorry ha

Sold the rep ages ago. I've had a mini cooper,157 bhp saxo vts and currently got an 04 civic ep2 sport but that's goin up for sale soon.
As for the meg my dads mate said I could have his for around £3000 mates rates which is about the value of my civic tbh.

As for the op just buy one you'll only wish you did

When did you look at the car? :S

To be honest I never really planned on selling it I just stuck it on thewebsite to see what sort of interest it would get.

The miles put me off the car at first however it’s cleaner than some 30k milecars I have seen.

The car was owned since 2005 by a girl on here (Amy R)

Yes mate- part time for me-
I do a 50 hour a week job in London- 63 renaultsports in 28 months isnt bad-

I guess im lucky because I dont have to worry about cutting corners, as opposed to some 'mainstream' dealers-
Plus actually enjoying the cars as well-

Im picking up a 172 next weekend- Im as happy driving that as a 200-

your right though- not many decent cars around- & as the price drops so does generally the quality of cars getting into the hands of non enthusiasts-
for every good 182 theres probably 30/40 dogs-
