It was definitely a Phase 1, just caught the front end as it went passed

Ph1's never came in LY, unless someone has had it repainted.

More likely to be Sunflower Yellow.

There was a Ph1 172 that had been resprayed in LY, it was forsale on pistonheads over a year ago, so it might well have been that one you seen.

That is a crazy connection, but yes, it is Hayley's old car. My mate knew her when she had it (small world).

There is a chance it'll be up for sale before the end of the year, just had the engine rebuilt, and the gearbox is at Agency Transmissions being rebuilt as I type.
