M62 dash cam footage

My friend recorded the following today on his dash cam...

A red picasso hits swerves, hits the central reservation and comes back accross and hits the railings on the hard shoulder.

As you can see everyone else speeds back up and carries on along the motorway, he was the only one to stop and check on the occupants.

Jesus!

Typical "must get to middle lane as quick as possible" driver!

Can't believe no one else in front stopped. c***s

Christ, that could have ended very differently!

We're they all ok?

Could have been much worse yes! The insignia dives into chris's lane as well which also could have ended badly, they were a bit shaken up but fine, he's giving a copy of the footage to the police as well.

He/she wasn't paying attention when the white car pulled out.

The driver of the picasso seems to start braking then stops braking as if to sit on the bumper and tail gate the car in front to me, which then obviously goes wrong.

Nobody wants to get involved.

Should have punched him for blocking the hard shoulder.
You're such a prick.

But yes, he also needs punching for crashing on a straight road. That is the sign of a true out and out bellend.

This drives me mad on a motorway, three or four cars join a motorway then instantly pull out and start overtaking. They don't even wait to see what others are doing around them. They look and move, I don't know about anyone else? But I look and look again before I move just to make sure.
I bet the Picasso looked briefly in mirror when White corsa pulled out, then panic swerved on looking back forward to see the corsa had not increased speed.
When you spend your life at 52mph on motorways you see this kind of things few times a day, but not the accident part.

It's like when I see a woman with a stranded car. Causing an obstruction. No one gets out to help. All it takes is for someone to help push car out of the way then bingo! No obstruction! Just for 2 mins of someone's time. I try stop when I can but with a lorry its sometimes not possible.
I stopped once to a car upside down in a ditch, lights on. Got down to car and no one was to be seen. I rang police, and they were aware, just not turned lights off and put aware stickers on it. No one else stopped.
I get sick of the selfish people I see every day. I need a career change coz I struggle to ignore the idiots. ( not claiming to be best driver, but I like to think I am considerate to others.

Some pretty specialist driving all round. And, as above, not one person pulled into the inside lane asap (including your mate)?

This bit of the M62 is so frustrating, you always end up with 2 lanes of "middle lane w*****s" or people joining at 50 or 80 and not adjusting their speed AT ALL to join the motorway.

That is disgusting that no one stopped, really is.

But not surprising. Look at the thread on here where someone is asking if he should shop someone else for benefit fraud. Most are saying "not your problem". And that's generally what most think. Don't care until they are affected and want the rest to care too.

I don't know this stretch of road so I don't know the reasons behind it, could have been for the reason in the post above, could have just been because no one moved over, who knows.
