Good on him, I know that the last 8 winters that I've had a car a snowy day hasnt gone by without the handbrake being pulled on at some point and the control that you learn from it has come in very useful at other times.

Haha there are some self righteous people old before their time on this thread!

I stopped at the local Asda for a loaf of bread on my way home late the other night and in an empty car park covered in snow it was rude not to handbrake it into a space. I'm sure I'm not the only one who has done it in the recent snow!
