Madbid!

  172, BMW 120 Msport.
Anyone tried this madbid.com website?

Seems a loads of rubbish to me, like win a brand new Mini for like £64 or something.

Costs £1.50 a bid, and the bid goes up 1p at a time, the auction lasts 30secs to 2 mins, and resets every time a bid is placed. Theres a Mini on there atm, been on all day.

Just wondering if anyones tried it as it looks like a big rip off to me.

£1.50 for every 1p bid. Now at £54. Thts mad. No wonder it's called mad bid. It ends when no1 outbids the the highest bidder within 2 mins. One person will get the car though. They make so much money that it can't be fixed. Sky high profiting

Well that's only £8100 and cheapest mini is what £12k so to break even it has to get to at least £80. That's 8000 bids which is quite a lot

ive been on it before but didnt come close to winning.

you get like 5 bids for free iirc

Yeh think its 5 free bids you get. I think you will get a better price if you bid and win, but the auction/site owner will be rolling the cash in lol

If there's minis ending at £64 then they must be making at least a few k loss every time unless they earn a crap load from advertising. cheapest mini = bout 12k, at £64 that's 6400 bids at £1.50 a time = £9600 and they won't even be getting the full £1.50 each time

I've seen it before and it does look tempting lol

Do any of the bids run at like 4 in the morning? that's the only way you're really going to win lol

tbf if you were after a mini and it ended at lets say £100, if you bid on it every time you will spend a maximum of £50 in their terms so thats 500 x £1.50. You will pretty uch be guarenteed to win if you stick at it rigorously for like 6-7 hours and although you will spend a fair few grand in bids, you will get a car on the cheap

saying that an audi is up to something like 891 at the moment

89100 x £1.50 = one rich owner of that site

I've always wondered why these sites don't get 'attacked' more often. £1.50 for a bid, few hundered $ for a DDOS attack that only needs to last long enough for the bids to timeout...
