Magic Mouse - help

With a normal mouse and roller wheel you can click and hold the wheel and pan around the screen ( I use AutoCAD a lot ), is there a way to do this with the magic mouse? It's superior in every way apart from that option that I cannot work out how to do!

Not entirely sure but perhaps a keyboard button is needed then drag ? ctrl or alt maybe ?! I'm guessing...

Failing that, buy a £5 wireless mouse to use on AutoCAD

I've got a cheap one, but it doesn't look as cool as the magic mouse!

It would appear not.

That would be anoying as hell in CAD.

Not sure how that works with spacebar as that's the shortcut for repeat last command..?!
It would be perfect if I could pan with it!

I already tried google but couldn't find an answer saying yes so thought I'd try here!
May as well sell it then I guess, no point having 2 mouseseseses and a trackpad. Unless the trackpad is worth more, if so I'll sell that instead.

No idea if this will be of any use to you but it's a little program I use for custom gestures etc. May be able to program a specific click or gesture to what you want? Perhaps a middle click or something similar?
