Magic Trackpad

Anyone got one? I'm half tempted because I think they look cool and would tidy the desk up but haven't really used one bar tossing about in the Apple Shop.

We have one, our mac mini was connected to the TV in the bedroom and it's more convenient to use a trackpad in bed than a mouse. I like the trackpad although we probably wouldn't have bought it if it wasn't specifically to be used in bed.

Its garbage. IMO.

The click mechanism is stupid. (yes i know you can tap to click)

It's just a toy to be fair, was intrigued if anyone raved about them. I think it's the novelty that's made me want one...

Yeah, the click mechansism is definately wrong, the surface should click not the "feet".

Tap to click works if you've turned it on (which if you're using it in bed you have to use it) but it a per-user preference, so doesn't work at the login screen where you have to click a foot.

Useful in bed, probably not so useful anywhere else.
