magical display?

what do u do to get the magical display on the dials etc in the 172? i remember there being a thread on it ages ago an would like try it.

Not sure what u mean?
If you mean the test where all lights come on and the rev and speedo needle go up and down, you hold the button in on the end of the stalk and turn the ignition on, i think!

lol@ magical lights. Its actually a self-diagnostic search for main fault codes/main trip reset/digital fuel guage etc etc

Ok Ta - where do the fault codes show, if indeed there is any?
