Magnex Cat-Back - Fitted Video

Picked up a magnex oval cat back system for £50 on ebay, wasnt sure if it would look right, but now its on (cheers to edde for fitting) it looks pretty good, all worth it for 50 quid though.

ive seen a few nocking round ebay, dont know if you can get them new still...

no fully warm (been driving 45 mins prior)... its always been like that running like that... had it checked an they said it was fine... no idea what it could be??? sounds like a bloody transit van on that vid on idle

all 1.2 16v's sound rough like that its the injectors. normal.

my heatsheild rattles slightly at about 700rpm

yea it went into the black mount,

yeh it just seems to be doing it once its warmed up and when sat at junctions etc, gona see what i can do about it though because its annoying already

yea it went into the black mount,

very odd, i didnt have a back mount, the other one just went into the side one near the back passenger wheel... what yr is your clio?

does it all the time even when warm, its defo coming from up front in the engine though. its just turned 18k yesterday. service this week so dont know if itl be a bit smoother after it

id say yes, they look and soundd good, mines a 2002 51 plate,

i dont know tbh, i just got it as it was cheap and my standard one had started blowing... i was going to get a twin 3.5" blueflame on the groupbuy, but this came up so i got it.

it looks better than i thought it would on the car, sits about an inch under the bumper, not too close and not to far away.

all ours make the noise (one on 40k, on on 65k and one on 130k) all 1.2 16v engines, (the 2 lower millage ones being the newer style 2004 and on engine) and noise doesnt go away when warm on ours?!

When I first heard that I thought is was a diesel! Don't think mine sounds that rough, need to go check now lol

yeah he did. when we were going to halfords for some clamps we saw you go past in the opposite direction towards his house, on the a41 i think it is.

thats a bargain, I asked about one of them brand new yesterday from halfords and they said £280!! I'm getting the same exhaust tip but from powerflow I think. It sounds awesome! It sounds a bit like my back box, but looks a bit better

nah but it rattles on the heatsheld on idle or let the car run down after harsh accelleration, gona have to take a look where its hitting it.

mines ok on idle but if you boot it hits like a b**ch, might have to put a bit of rubber on it to stop it banging
