Magnex/Mongoose question

I ordered a mongoose system and i came today for the 172 and it came with a plate with three holes in, bit of a daft question but where do i fit this plate ?

Post a picture of it. From the way you've described it so far, it sounds like something for the mount.

The plate fits between the chassis and OE rear exhaust mount, it provides additional support for the backbox. It should be pretty self explanatory when looking at the mount and backbox

oh ok so i take the original rear exhaust mount off and fit this between the chasis and the original exhaust mount then ?

Yeah looks like a mount just not sure how it fits ?????? does it support thye underneat of the back box ?????

As I said, it goes (bolts) between the chassis and OE rear exhaust mount, it can only fit one way!

A rubber fits on the bracket hanger and the back box hanger.

they havent supplied the rubber bits, have you got one of these exhausts Gray ?

I don't own a 172 anymore, but I used to work for the company who manufactured that exhaust system.

Or contact the company who supplied the exhaust and ask for the full fitting kit?

The above mount you've linked would not work, this needs to be a specific size or the exhaust will sag on one side.

Yeah cheers for that ill ring em when i looked at it i knew something didn't add up it is missing the rubber between the supplied mount and otherside of the back box when i rang up earlier they saif it fixed in the centre of the car ill give em s**t tommorow.
