mainifold wrapping

is it worth while wrapping a standard maifold in that heat stuff thats supposed to help with exhaust gas flow or is it a lot of work for nothing

pointless for performance, but very good at keeping engine bay temp down, took 10hours to wrap a 182 manifold when we did it! LOL

Waste of time and can ruin your manifold, my mate had his mini 1380 manifold wrapped and it managed to melt the welds!

I've got my 182 manifold ceramic coated (inside and out), can't start to explain how good it is!

Also get a lot of problems with rusting due to the lagging getting damp when the car isn't used.

How much was it for the ceramic coating....where did you get it done?

Got it done at camcoat, very good company and quick turn around as well! Check the site for prices etc
