Making a complaint to Microsoft...

About thier 360 so called Customer Support line....

anyone know of any contact details I could use or if someone has made a complaint in tha past?

I found a critical bug with some microsoft stuff at work. Basicaly a loop hole that means I can bring down the whole domain if I wanted to. They want me to pay to report the error to them via their support desk then if it is a bug they will refund me!!!!

Thats the problem...you tried calling thier customer support line? it doesn't work 9 out of ten times and when it does work i end up getting cut off...I got through once and the tit I was talking to was on the phone for about 25mins then said "oh sorry, we are the wrong department, I will get the correct area to call you back in 48 hours"....48 hours later...no call.....sent them an e-mail via the "contact us" part of the support website and the reply was....

Please contact Xbox 360 Customer Support on the following link....blah blah

The fricking link was the one I used to e-mail them in the first place?!?!?! work that one out!!

Bill it via accounts, if you are right, you get a letter and a lovely sticker sometimes too!!

But its more likely that the software is not up to date.

Searched on google for the error code returned in the error logs not one hit and the server is fully patched.

Sure its the right error code your putting in, microsoft have listed all error codes. It wont randomly make up an error code, as it doesnt know it is in error i.e is a bug.

finally got through...spoke to thier superviser...nothing they can con do cos Im a UK customer?!?! WTF?!?! aparenty someone from the UK team will cal me today or tomorrow....f**k this....I'm gonna go to Asda to see if they have any core systems in and get one and bin this one...it's fucked me off soooo much....

You really are having a s**t time with Microsoft and that 360. Happy to not have any probs with my 360 yet.

dunno if thats possible is it? i would have to get a premium pack if i did that as the plate on the disc drive is chrom on the premium and white on the core...

Thats what I'm trying to do for f**k sake!!! this is rediculous!

Exactly same happened to me mate. I emailed "Please please please can someone ring me because i CANT get through on the customer service number - on hold for 30 mins everytime" ..... sent me exact same email above.

Ring at 10am ish, i was on hold for less than 5 mins each time. 4pm onwards and its not even worth bothering.

Well I'm started a thread on the xbox.com forum saying the same thing and I've also sent an e-mail via the Microsoft UK website....it simply isn't on....

I've also read that if you need it fixing and your warrenty has run out you have to pay them about £70??!?! lucky mine still has a bit of warrenty left on it...

Sorry I missled you the Exception code is known c0000005 but the error value is not 7211dee5.

Edit : Sorry this is of no help to the guy with the XBOX! Didn't mean to hijack the thread. Was just saying i am finding it hard getting in touch with ms as well!!

right well, almost 2 weeks now since my 360 packed in...have I had a single worth while response....no!! fecking tit bags! aparently the Escelation Manager for 360 Support Team is going to phone me today....we'll see.....

well 2 weeks and finnaly something is being done!! woohoo! they are sending me a new 360 and I don't have to send my one back untill I'm satisfied that the new one is working correctly...once I send me old one back I can get a game or a "peripheral" as compensation...not bad I guess....
