Making DVD's

What software do you guys use to create dvd's from avi files?

I use Ulead VideoStudio 9. Basic but does the job nicely

tmpgenc takes ages but does a really good job

i use nero to burn my dvd's, normally takes just under an hour. Are there any better programs then to use that do it quicker?
