Not just me then. I've had my prospeed on for ages now and about 3 weeks ago it popped and it was damned loud and sounded veerry nice. :approve:
Surprised me tbh as it had never done it before. I wish I knew how to do it on demand.

mine used to do it preety bad when i had the cat back 172 system on with custom exhaust (was on a 1.2 ) just drive casual then in 3rd slow down without brakes idle drops to about 1.5k then pop, middle of town and people just look,

now i just get burbpling since puttin my 1.2 exhaust back on

My 106 gti and saxo vts both shot flames out with a de-catted system on, the best ones for the shotgun noise are pugsport group N systems

not sure about the clio but I imagine with a de-cat back on they will definately get some pops and bangs on over run

mine pops when changing gear from cold at mid revs, will pop once in a while when fully warmed when changing gear and brubles like a b**ch when off the throttle rolling along only engine mods i have is ktec pannel filter and ktec recessed supersports system.

I hate noisy exhausts. A nice exhaust note is one thing, popping and banging just makes your car sound chavvy. IMO of course.

Especially as it's usually bodykitted saxos etc that usually have the silly loud exhausts.

It's subjective really isn't it, some people like raw power sounds,aggresive delivery, turbo lag, 9,000 rpm, pops, bangs, fire, hunting on idle, stripped interiors, no airbags et cetera.

Other people like diesels, torque, softtops, old spice, nail varnish, smart cars, rainbows, scatter cushions, manbags, cardigans, will and grace, ice skating et cetera.

Raw power ENGINE sounds yes. Not a 1.2 with a baked bean can exhaust.

Nothing wrong with any of that apart from Old Spice.
