manifold absolute pressure sensor

hi i have a clio 1.2 16valve nd i was just wondering what what does this sensor actually do and what do you think is causing oil to weap out of it any reply would be greatfull

It detects the pressure in the manifodl for the ECU to use.

Oil shouldn't leak out its on the intake manifold.
