Manual key for campus

  clio campus,Corsa Sxi Hdi
Hi just purchased a brand new campus the other day, I was given two keys 1 a standard remote blip key 2 a manaul key (useless)
To use the manual key I have to open the passengers door lean over and pull handle to open drivers door.walk round to the other side (unless i clamber over seat to get to drivers seat. when I come out i have to go round to the passengers side again and lock to door this does not lock the drivers door I have to use the blip key to lock it:dapprove: Surly this is not right .When I phoned dealer they said i could have another blip key at a cost of £150. Should i right to renault and complain about this usless manual key. Thanks :(

The manaul key is a great idea can lock the car and then go swimming etc and not worry about wrecking the electrics.

I wouldnt say its a great idea thats what lockers are for lol!

It would be nicer to have another plip key like you get with the 1*2s no point writing though your just wasting time your ink and precious trees.

Depends if you can find a locker ie if your sailing surfing etc.

Its a cost cutting measure have to make the cars cheaper these days.

yeah I see the logic behind it matey and its ovi a cost cutting measure as you say but a normal key is much cheaper to buy than a plip key ;)

I wasnt being argumentative i should have been more detialed. I assume the normal key has an immobiliser thingy init?
